Flux Perception

Nada Tarkhan, Aman Singvhi

Project sponsored by Beam.

In partnership with the Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

Using sophisticated scientific methods, “Flux Perception” will transform airflow into light. This enveloping light sequence will heighten participants’ perception of airflow, the amount of air travelling through and around our surroundings. As the participants move, they will alter the airflow, and these convergences and collisions will be visualized as changes as a vivid color spectrum. Fusing Architecture, Arts, Science and Technology, this project will set establish new ground for installations in their attempts to catalog, and therefore make us more aware of, our environments.
