The festival that started it all…
In 2014, 100 local creatives met to define a vision for a contemporary light art festival in Boston, and decided on the name ILLUMINUS. A few months later, we transformed the area around SoWa Power Station into an urban gallery of dozens of site-specific new works. 10,000 people came. ILLUMINUS was born.
